Heat Sinks

Heatsinks are necessary to keep components cool – for example processors, GPUs, or hard drives generate a lots of heat. Overheating is a serious problem, so it is important to know about the hot-spots in the system, and installing a heatsink that can handle the problematic spot. The heat sinks and the fans are responsible for dissipating this heat and maintaining the safe temperature limits.

Tekmart offers heatsinks from Dell, SUN , HP. NetApp and IBM, among other brands, and are compatible with older and end-of-life systems. Given the age and type of heatsinks, some of them are refurbished – while they are used, our technicians have inspected and tested all of them, before they are listed as stock, to ensure they are up to standards.
