We had to upgrade the mechanical drives and add storage space to our ageing Compellent SC2020 array. We specifically use this setup in data analytics where intensive reads and IOPS performance is our most important consideration. Higher capacity SSD versions are better for speed, but they're still quite poor compared to other drives which don't cost that much more. Slightly more expensive SSD's are also higher quality and have longer warranties. Always do yourself a favour-research and do more research- and do NOT buy any SSD which doesn't have DRAM for your enterprise systems. Cheaper ones would still maybe be compatible and still work. These are enterprise SSDS and are not designed to be used on consumer systems. These SSDs were a right investment for us-price vs use. Highly recommend.
