These drives are compatible with HP Proliant DL380 Gen9 server. You can see this compatibility on HP's website as well if you want to verify. Bought 2 of these brand new HP drives sealed in a static bag. Received what I ordered and expected. They came in with the correct tray (G8/G9 series caddys). Plugged right in to the server and got detected immediately and are working great ever sinec.
