Hot-swapped intermittent failing hard drive on one of our client's IBM DS3500 storage array. Raid array recovered the data on the fly - no sweat, no strain. I replaced the failing drive with one of them just over a month ago and have had no problems at all. And, yes this IBM drive does come with the M1 3.5 drive tray/caddy as well (the old version)...ready to go.. Just plug in and go.
