I bought a couple of these to replace drives in the SCSI Raid array on my IBM eServer. It has 6 drives in the RAID; 5 for the RAID itself and 1 hot-spare in case one or more of the drives in the RAID fails. The speed of these drives is great and with the price, it was worth a try to at least buy us some time before we need to look at a system upgrade. I put these in and they worked perfectly. Luckily we had made backups, just in case, but it was nice to put them in and have everything sort itself out automatically.
