This is a great accessory if you want to add more drives to a DL360 G7 server. It fits perfectly in the space left after taking out the drive media bay. Just what we needed to add more storage to our server. Our unit now has the maximum possible number of drives for the model. We also bought a top backplane board to enable this. The standard configuration of a 4-bay server does not include this as its an optional part according to HP.
