This is an Ultra3 Channel Expansion Module to expand the two-channel model of the Smart Array 3500 to four channels. This is a way to leverage an investment in the SA-3500 two-channel model and at the same time fulfill the need for scalability and growth of server storage.

Designed and tested with industry-standard ProLiant Server for greater reliability the Smart Array 3500 Series controller is ideal for the distributed workgroup server or centralized departmental server and like other Smart Array controllers the SA-5300 features complete data compatibility with previous generations for easy data migration and upgradability.
