This heatsink is keyed, so it can only be installed in one direction, and uses four (4) integrated Torx T15 screws to secure the heatsink to the System Board, rather than the original cage and latch.
The ProLiant DL360p Gen8 server with Intel Xeon processors E5-2600 v2 (Ivy Bridge) was manufactured worldwide exclusively with the screw-down type heatsink.
- :: There will be two System Board Spare part numbers for the ProLiant DL360p Gen8 server (one for caged-type heatsink models and one for screw-down type heatsink models).
- :: These spares are NOT interchangeable.
- :: In order to determine the correct System Board Spare part number, please reference the label on the System Board.
- :: It is NOT possible to convert a System Board from one type of heatsink to the other.
