I use this type of memory in our HP servers to run virtualized workloads. To achieve this high VM/server density you will need a lot of RAM. These memory modules have provided the memory capacity I need at a decent price point. We will most likely buy more of these if we can get them at a good price or when they run a daily deals again. By the way, I have also used these exact modules on a Dell R510. It seems that they also can work across brands.
