Lenovo Tiny Series of Mini-PCs
The need for large desktop chassis with large fans and easy access to swap components is becoming more and more outdated in the business world. In response, Lenovo has given businesses their ThinkCentre M Series Tiny. The system’s chassis is so small, it’s actually smaller than most laptops. The ThinkCentre Tiny desktop provides a solution which boasts a “tiny footprint; big productivity.”
Despite the unit’s size, Lenovo’s tiny form factor PC packs quite the punch, or at least enough to meet basic needs in an office environment. Lenovo’s Tiny pc supports up to 32GB and up to an Intel Core i7-6700T 2.8G 4C processor with integrated graphics.
For storage, Lenovo allows users to choose up to a 256GB Solid State Drive, or a 7200 RPM 500GB Hard Drive.
Despite coming loaded with so much hardware, the system is surprisingly silent !
Some useful features to note on these monster Tiny-Pcs.
- :: The M Series Tiny uses temperature controlled fans, or what Lenovo has called its Intelligent Cooling Engine, to “provide balance between thermals and acoustics.”
- :: This ThinkCentre M Series Tiny also comes installed with Windows 7, which comes pre-installed through the downgrade rights license in Windows 10, so users able to update to 10 if they desire.
- :: The system also comes with built-in Wi-Fi, which supports 802.11 b/g/n connections and speeds up to 45 Mbps, and also comes with integrated Bluetooth support.
Businesses can save even more desk space using All-In-One solutions for the ThinkCentre Tin. Lenovo’s solutions are limited to choosing to either mount to their own 23” All-In-One monitor solution or a VESA Bracket that allows it to be mounted to the monitor or wall, but not both.
A Lenovo bracket will fit monitors with 75 mm and 100 mm VESA hole patterns, with an optional “tilt” upgrade.
