It comes with 15 EMC CLARiiON CX-4G15-600GB drives, each offering 600GB of storage and operating at 15,000 RPM with a Fibre Channel (FC) interface. This enclosure allows users to significantly increase the storage of their existing EMC CLARiiON systems, making it ideal for organizations that require additional disk capacity for their storage environments.
The CX-4PDAE disk enclosure can hold up to 15 disk drives, with support for either Fibre Channel (FC) or SATA II interfaces. However, it's important to note that FC and SATA drives cannot be mixed in the same expansion. If you need a SATA expansion, please contact us as we have these in stock as well. The Fibre Channel interface supports a speed of 4Gb/sec, ensuring high performance and quick data transfer rates.
This expansion unit is compatible with a wide range of EMC CLARiiON systems, including the CX3-10, CX3-20, CX3-40, CX3-80, CX4-120, CX4-240, CX4-480, and CX4-960 models, along with the CX-4PDAE itself.
