Key points to note on this 430-4435 Dell 10GB Ethernet Dual Port X520-DA2 Converged Network Adapters:-

The Intel® 10 Gigabit AF DA Dual Port Server Adapter from Dell™ is a cost-effective, low-power solution designed for efficient 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. It provides direct copper twinaxial cable connections between servers and top-of-rack switches, ideal for in-the-rack links of less than 10 meters. This adapter delivers the throughput and low latency required by bandwidth-intensive applications while maintaining energy efficiency. Its design enables two 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports within a single PCIe adapter, making it an optimal choice for customers seeking high performance with minimal power consumption.

Ordered a couple of these for a client assignment. Easy and quick upgrade to 10Gb on some old Dell R515 servers (the AMD version) running Server 2012 R2 Standard. I did update the firmware on them from Dell's support site. I opted to use Intel SFP+ MM fiber modules, a MM patch cord, and HP SFP+ modules on the other end (going to an HP switch), rather than attempt to use DAC cables. All worked great. Economical way to go from 1Gb to 10Gb.
