Great convertor for ssds. Worked perfectly. Aligns perfectly to the backplane on our CSE-721TQ-250B mini-tower servers.

I needed to put a few SSDs into an older Supermicro chassis 815T so I ordered these. I know they make a tool-less version but I think I prefer the ones with the screws. It fits, seems well built. I was able to add a 2.5" SSD without any issues. It's the entire caddy (the whole tray); you don't need anything else to mount a typical 2.5 SSD. But if your SSD requires an adapter (e.g. some of the ultra thin ones,) then you will need that adapter as well. The fast delivery was a surprise. They have worked perfectly with no problems.

The dimensional accuracy on the product description is convenient. This adapter can be easily installed in Supermicro Backplane. With dual port wiring its a good conversion for SATA SSDs or 2.5 inch normal HDDs! .Fits and works beautifully.
