Amazing after sales support from Tekmart Africa

We rely heavily on our IBM Power systems for our IT network. In the past we had a supplier managing all our IT hardware needs. We have always relied on their sales and technical support teams to answer our calls at any time of the day and provide us with prompt service... The engineers have always made things easy for us.

We have replaced one of our servers and bought a storage system from them that put us into a domain environment. Kobus, from their technical support, kept us informed in their reasoning every step of the way on why we needed to standardize on Storwize SAN storage as they were carving out a solution for us. Essentially, they brought us up-to-date. We were using tape for backups and the new solution has migrated us to a more secure hybrid cloud and on-premise backup solution.

Our business is now more secure after implementing a firewall they recommended as we had no firewall prior, resulting in a far more effective and secure disaster recovery plan.
