The EX2200-C Ethernet switch is a smaller, fanless, and power-efficient model tailored for low-density micro-branch deployments, office environments, classrooms, hospitality settings, and other constrained spaces. It offers 12 10/100/1000BASE-T access ports, along with two dual-purpose uplink ports for additional flexibility. Both the EX2200 and EX2200-C models are available with or without 802.3af Class 3 Power over Ethernet (PoE), supporting devices like phones, video cameras, and wireless access points. They also support the PoE+ standard for higher power needs, such as multiple IEEE 802.11n wireless access points.
Running on Junos OS, the EX2200 and EX2200-C switches offer a consistent feature set across Juniper network infrastructure. These switches can be mounted on two-post or four-post 19-inch racks using provided mounting brackets, with the exception of the EX2200-C, for which mounting brackets are sold separately. If a recessed installation is required for models other than the EX2200-C, 2-inch recess front mount brackets are available in a separately orderable four-post rack-mount kit, though the EX2200-C does not support recessed mounting.
