I used it to install a Samsung Evo SSD in a HP DL320e Gen8 short-length server and it worked very well. Any 2.5 inch drive and / or SSD have the same mounting and should work.

Have used this adapter many times. A very economical and handy solution that just works. If you currently have 3.5 inch sata form factor hard drives in the trays , this will allow you to use a 2.5 inch drive instead. Its frame and connector are in position to make a 2.5 inch sata drive look exactly like a 3.5 inch drive for both mounting and interfacing to the electrical connector. Great product.
