Installed this in a Dell Latitude D430. It's physically smaller than a standard drive so I had to shim it with some little silicone feet to keep it from rattling around. Other than that, it was easy to install. I have had 3 units and they all click - they run fine, and don't come up with errors but the hard drives all had this annoying click. This ZIF (PATA) SSD gave new life to my laptop. An overkill I would say. Turned a lightweight Dell d430 from a slow, useless machine (so light it is useless as a doorstop) into a spiffy, responsive, all around machine running windows 7. Not for high-end applications, but that's a limit of the machine, not the hard drive. It has saved my laptop from the dump.
