Always wondered whether we could still source SSDs in 3.5 inch. We searched and managed to get a few of these still in circulation. They were a bit expensive, but other than that, these have been great for smoothing out the performance of our EMC SAN. No choice as there are no other alternatives and EMC systems are very finicky, they wont accept any other SSD drives-they have a very specific firmware on them.
