Key points to note on these 2CGTG Dell Rack Adapter Bracket Kits:-
- :: This is a genuine Dell PowerEdge 2CGTG 2U Threaded Rack Adapter to ReadyRail Converter Kit
- :: ReadyRails sliding rail kits from Dell are designed to install without tools in square hole and unthreaded round hole racks only.
- :: These adapter brackets can be installed in a threaded hole rack to support ReadyRails sliding rail kits.
- :: They an also be optimized to limit the offset of the server beyond the EIA rails to less than 18mm.
- :: The 2U Threaded Rack Adapter Brackets Kit can be used with the ReadyRails sliding rail kits for Dell's 2U-5U PowerEdge servers.
- :: They can also be used with the Dell rack-mount UPS ReadyRails static rail kit.
This adapter bracket kits include six brackets to accommodate different rail lengths, plus four sets of custom screws in 10-32, 12-24, M5 and M6 thread sizes. The design of the brackets has been optimized to limit the forward shift of the system in the rack to only 17.3 mm.
Depending on the depth of the rack used and the position of the mounting rails within the rack, it may be necessary to remove the system’s bezel in order to close the front door of the rack.
For the front door to close with the system bezel installed, a minimum clearance of 58 mm is needed between the back surface of the door panel and the front face of the EIA flange.
