If your unit contains a part that is labelled with the Modified Spare number, the Modified Spare must be ordered as the replacement part.

If your unit contains a part that is labelled with the Original Spare number, please order the Original Spare as the replacement part. In this case either the Original Spare or the Modified Spare may be shipped which will not affect performance or functionality of the unit.

Instructions on how to remove and replace any of these ML370 G5 PSBs:-

Power supply backplane removal

Tekmart Caveat: 

** Failure to comply with the precautions could result in damage to your product or loss of data.**

1. Remove power to the server.

2. Remove the power supplies.

3. Remove the access panel.

4. Remove the baffle.

5. Remove the fan cage. 

6. Disconnect all power cables.

7. Remove the video connector cable from the system board.

8. Disconnect the System Insight Display cable.

9. Loosen the (2) thumbscrews.

10. Slide the power supply backplane toward the front of the server to disengage it from the standoffs on the chassis.

11. Lift it out of the server.

Power supply backplane replacement

1. Position the power supply backplane so that the keyholes line up with the standoffs on the chassis.

2. Slide it toward the rear of the server to engage the keyholes on the standoffs.

3. Tighten the thumbscrews.

4. Replace the System Insight Display cable.

5. Replace the fan cage.

6. Replace the Bezel. 

7. Replace the access panel.

8. Replace the power supplies.

9. You are done !
